Courtney joined the firm in 2013. She has more than 12 years’ experience as attorney, practicing in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Courtney focuses in the area of family law and is also a certified Guardian ad Litem. Courtney began her career as a law clerk and then as an attorney at a small firm in Boston. She then practiced with a large New Hampshire law firm for five years before joining Welts, White & Fontaine. She represents clients in divorce, parenting matters, guardianships, child support and prenuptial agreements. As a Guardian ad Litem, she is appointed by the Court to investigate and report to the court on the best interests of a child. She assists client in simple divorces, complex asset cases, and high-conflict parenting matters to resolve their differences and find solutions that work best for their families.
Courtney is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Hampshire Bar Family Law Section.
Courtney graduated in 1996 from Rutgers University, magna cum laude, with a degree in economics. She received her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2001.
Courtney is a New Hampshire native, born and raised in Amherst.
