Michael J. Fontaine, Esquire Email: mfontaine@lawyersnh.com Michael J. Fontaine is a Director and Shareholder of Welts, White & Fontaine, P.C. He joined the firm in 1985, and specializes in divorce and family law, worker’s compensation, personal injury, commercial law and collections. Michael earned a BA and MA degree from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. He earned his JD degree from the University of St. Louis Law School, St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar Associations, a member of the Worker’s Compensation Section and the Divorce and Family Law Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association, a member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys. He has also been a past member of the Commercial Law League of America. He is also admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Michael is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars for attorneys and paralegals, and at the New Hampshire Hospital Association, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Michael’s institutional clients include St. Joseph Hospital of Nashua, NH, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Elliot Hospital, Catholic Medical Center, Concord Hospital, Franklin Hospital, Lakes Region General Hospital, Frisbee Memorial Hospital, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, New London Hospital, Monadnock Community Hospital, Dartmouth Hospital, Nashua Telegraph, Union Leader Newspaper, Standbridge Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., Accurate Electric, Inc., Advanced Septic Service, Lovering Volvo of Nashua, Lovering Volvo of Concord and Lovering Volvo of Meredith. Mr. Fontaine also represents many individual clients with their legal needs. Mike has been involved in various community organizations. He has served as a member of the Paralegal Advisory Board at Rivier College, and as the Chairperson of the Commercial Law Committee of the General Practice Section of the American Bar Association. On a personal level, he has also served as a Board Member and President of the Amherst Patriots Pop Warner Football and Cheer Organization, as a Board Member and President of the Loon Mountain Freestyle Ski Team and as the Town Coordinator for the Hollis Babe Ruth Baseball Organization. He has also served as a coach for Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth baseball teams. |
