Barbara Halevi

Barbara joined Welts, White & Fontaine, P.C. in 2026 and practices in the areas of commercial real estate and business law.
Prior to joining the firm, Barbara was an attorney at Winer and Bennett, LLP for ten years, where she applied her drafting and deal management skills to many commercial real estate and land use matters. Recently, Barbara was involved in a multi-year effort to complete the first steps in the acquisition, permitting, and financing of a Superfund eligible site poised for remediation and redevelopment to construct over 500 residential units.
In addition to her real estate practice, Barbara also represents local business clients on topics ranging from business formations, leases, financing transactions, asset purchases and sales, contract matters, and other general business topics.
Barbara started her law career as an associate attorney in at McDermott Will & Emery in Boston, where she focused her practice on general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity and venture capital financing transactions.
Barbara graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education Law and Policy from Boston University.
Since 2018, Barbara has served on the Board of Trustees of the MicroSociety Academy Charter School in Nashua.
A Nashua native, Barbara currently lives in her hometown with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, reading, and spending time with her family.
