Nicole Fontaine Dooley joined the firm in 2022 to assist companies of various sizes with commercial litigation, as well as individual clients in the firm’s family law department.
Before joining Welts, White, and Fontaine, P.C., Nicole was a litigation Counsel at Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr, LLP in Boston, Massachusetts, where she focused her practice on intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. Nicole has experience working on intellectual property litigations involving patents, trade secrets, and trademarks, as well as on other types of commercial litigation, including construction and dealership disputes. She was named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list in 2021 and 2022.
Nicole graduated summa cum laude from Boston College Law School, where she was the Executive Articles Editor to the Boston College Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Health and French from Tufts University.
Nicole is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She also had the honor of working on a case argued before the U.S. Supreme Court.
She was raised in Hollis, New Hampshire and currently lives in Windham with her husband and two young children. In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, and keeping up with her French.
