Dave Tencza joined the firm in 2019 to assist clients in the areas of criminal defense, family law and other civil litigation matters. Before joining Welts, White and Fontaine, Dave served as a Superior Court prosecutor in the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office from 2007 until 2017 and then ran his own law practice for a brief period of time. In his capacity as a prosecutor, he gained extensive pre-trial litigation and jury trial experience and was an initial member of the Hillsborough County Superior Court Adult Drug Court. Since entering into private practice, Dave has been able to use this experience within the court system to secure favorable outcomes for his clients in both the areas of family law and criminal defense.
Dave is active within his community and the legal profession. He has served as an Alderman-at-Large on Nashua’s Board of Alderman from 2017 to 2021. In this capacity he was a member of the City of Nashua’s Planning Board and served one term as chairman of the Planning and Economic Development Committee. He has previously served on the Board of Governors for the New Hampshire Bar Association and is currently a board member for the Nashua Bar Association.
Dave enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and children, taking advantage of all the different outdoor activities in the New England area.
