Dave Tencza joined the firm in 2019 to assist clients in the areas of criminal and family law. Before joining Welts, White and Fontaine, Dave served as a Superior Court prosecutor in the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office from 2007 until 2017 and then ran his own law practice for a brief period of time. In his capacity as a prosecutor, he gained extensive pre-trial litigation and jury trial experience and was an initial member of the Hillsborough County Superior Court Adult Drug Court. Since entering into private practice, Dave has been able to use this experience within the court system to secure favorable outcomes for his clients in both the areas of family law and criminal defense.
Dave is active within his community and the legal profession. He currently serves as an Alderman-at-Large on Nashua’s Board of Alderman and coach’s youth sports in several different local leagues. He has previously served on the Board of Governors for the New Hampshire Bar Association and is currently a board member for the Nashua Bar Association and the New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance Program.
Dave enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and children, taking advantage of all the different outdoor activities in the New England area.
