Michael D. Brown, a native of New Hampshire, joined Welts, White & Fontaine, P.C. in 2024. He practices primarily in the areas of family law and general civil litigation.

As a combat veteran of the U.S. Navy, Michael brings a unique perspective to his legal practice. His personal experience has given him a deep understanding of veterans and their families’ challenges while navigating the VA and daily life. His mission is to help veterans overcome legal obstacles at the federal, state, community, and individual levels. To that end, Michael is licensed to handle veterans benefits claims before the Veterans Administration.

Before starting his legal career, Michael worked for over 11 years in vocational rehabilitation. His work was focused on helping veterans and people with disabilities find and maintain employment, which demonstrates his unwavering dedication to helping these individuals.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his family, hunting, fishing, gardening, raising chickens and ducks, and retreating to the White Mountains for rest and relaxation.
